🧟 Horde Night Planner

Data: V3.0.1 · 2026-07-13

Enter your game state and get an exact breakdown of zombie counts, ammo needs, and survival probability — all calculated from gamestages.xml data. Results update in real time.

📖 Part of our Horde Night Preparation Guide — learn Game Stage mechanics, base design, and the complete pre-horde checklist.

Every number comes directly from the game's gamestages.xml and entitygroups.xml files — not manually entered formulas. Game Stage is calculated using the exact formula from the game: (Player Level + Days Survived) × Difficulty Bonus. Days Survived is capped at your player level and reduced by 2 per death.

The planner covers all 6 difficulty presets, 4 biomes (Forest/Desert/Snow/Wasteland), and 1–8 player party scaling with diminishing returns. Demolisher probability is tracked separately — they start appearing at Game Stage 153.

Once you know your numbers, use the Crafting Chain Explorer to see the raw materials behind each ammo type, or check the Blood Moon Predictor to find your next horde day.

Where does the zombie data come from?
Directly from gamestages.xml and entitygroups.xml in the V3.0 game files. See the About page for details on our data pipeline.

Yes — the player count slider applies the game's party scaling formula: each additional player adds their GS with diminishing returns (×0.5 per player).
